Our Story
Antioch Church of God has been here on High Street, Gambia, since 2000. We are a lively, welcoming church with a heart to serve the Lord and share the love of Jesus Christ.
We believe that every person matters. Whatever your age or background, you are welcome here. We want to know our neighbours, listen to their needs and help build a caring community.

Sunday
🕑 Every Sunday, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
Sunday is a time to worship God, meet together and find encouragement for the week ahead. Join us at Antioch Church of God for singing, prayer and a Bible message that connects faith with everyday life.
Whether you attend church regularly or are visiting for the first time, you are welcome. Bring your family, invite a friend or come on your own. There is a place for you here.
We gather to give thanks, support one another and grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ. Whatever your week has been like, we would love to share Sunday morning with you.
“For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”Matthew 18:20, KJV
Wednesday
🕑 Every Wednesday, 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Our Wednesday Bible study is a chance to pause, open the Scriptures and learn together. We explore what the Bible teaches and how its message can guide our relationships, choices and everyday responsibilities.
You do not need any previous Bible knowledge to join us. Questions are welcome, and we value the opportunity to listen and learn from one another. Whether you are exploring Christianity or have followed Jesus for years, come and take part.
Bring your Bible, a notebook if you wish, and a willingness to learn. Together, we seek to understand God’s Word and live out what we discover.
“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”Psalm 119:105, KJV

Friday
🕑 Every Friday, 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Our Friday prayer meeting brings us together to thank God and pray for the needs of others. At the end of a busy week, it is an opportunity to pause and seek His strength, comfort and guidance.
We pray for our families, church, community and nation, remembering those facing illness, uncertainty or difficult circumstances. We also share thanksgiving for God’s goodness and answered prayer.
You do not need special words or experience of praying aloud. You are welcome to pray, listen quietly or ask someone to pray with you. Whatever you are carrying, you do not have to face it alone.
“Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving.”Colossians 4:2, KJV
